You will learn how to spin wool with a drop spindle first. Then you will learn how to spin with a spinning wheel. It takes time for most people to get hang of it. Most of the time you will keep practicing. If you have taken a beginner’s class before but you have not done this for a while, please join us in this class.  Once you get it, it stays with your muscle memory.

I provide a drop spindle, a spinning wheel, and fiber.

You are welcome to stay until 5pm to keep practicing and make your own batt (wool fiber prepared for spinning) if you like. Butt’s fee is $3 per ounce.
