SAORI Kai is a gathering for SAORI weavers to share artwork and ideas. It’s open to public and free for everyone. It is a casual community building event beyond regular classes and the studio. Usually we do a show& tell in the group. Please bring your woven work to share. Depending on the number of people gather and the time limit, sometimes people share 1-5 pieces. You are welcome to share your experience honestly. This is an opportunity to actualize the one of the SAORI principles “Get inspired one another, and everyone in the group”. You will be encouraged and get inspired to pursue your creativity  for sure. 

Mihoko will serve light refreshments. You are welcome to bring some snack to share but not necessary.

This time, Mihoko will try to share the gathering through zoom at the same time to include zoom class students and Study Group members as well as other people who can’t get here physically. It will be experimental so please be patient. The zoom participants need to pre-register to get the link.
