Suren Dye is from Japan which includes bleach. That’s why it is good to use commercially dyed materials to dye to a new color. In this workshop I want you to bring warp with commercially dyed yarn so we will prepare shibori where the original colors will remain to dye a new color. It’s more interesting if you mix different colors and textures.

Suren works well with cotton, rayon, and linen.

I have limited color choices which are black, brown, and dark purple.
