"SAORI, Self -discovery through Free Weaving" by Misao Jo and Kenzo Jo
This book contains a biography of the founder Misao Jo, directions for the use of Saori looms, weaving techniques, and some clothing patterns . If you are too far away from a Saori studio to learn from a teacher, this book could help you to get started! From this book you can understand Saori philosophy deeply, and you'll get a different perspective on weaving.
This might change your perspective on life, too!
"SAORI, PHOTO REPORT Vol. V, 2004"
These banners on the cover pages were displayed on the National Folk Art Museum in Osaka for several months. This book is in full color, with many pictures of Saori weavers modeling their creations. These images will definitely inspire your imagination.

"SAORI, Shitate no hon"
This book contains more than 50 patterns for making clothing. It's in Japanese, but you can read the numbers (in centimeters), and the clear design sketches are easy to figure out. Since we have a lot of demand for this book even though it's in Japanese, we make it available for anyone who likes to make clothing from hand-woven fabric. But watch out for the "Japanese size" numbers! You will have to adjust those numbers for your body!
